Niagara Falls

This picture if from the "Canada Side." Phil and I stopped here in the evening. It was free to get in, but all the shops and restaurants were closed. This was my first time seeing this epic landmark! Phil has been here many times, since Niagara Falls is just a short trip away from his home town of Toronto. The cascading Falls spanned a wider length but were vertically shorter than I imagined. Phil's mother reminded me that it is January and a lot of the Falls are frozen, so it's bigger in the summer when it's not locked down in ice. My thought is that it must be prettier this way...
