Our Cheap Campers Blog may soon be transformed into a Cheap Eurotrippers Blog in the next coming months! The winds of opportunity are blowing our way. Round trip airfare from Portland to Europe from March 1 to May 3rd is only $670. Today I received my ISIC card, which entitles me to thousands of hostel, travel, and attraction discounts throughout Europe. I am eagerly devouring "Rick Steves' Europe Through the Backdoor" and am working with Phil to put together an itinerary.
I never thought I would have this opportunity! So many of my peers studied abroad in high school and college and I just never seemed to have the money or time off. At the moment, both are falling into my lap. I also never thought I would make it to France to visit my Mom but that opportunity arose last summer. The moral? An open mind and ear for opportunity allows for dreams to come true!
