Vancouver 2010 Olympics SOON!!!

Hello fellow cheap campers! We are thrilled to announce our impending arrival to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, BC. Via a generous gift from Phil's parents, we have tickets to the Men's Curling event on Wednesday, Feb 17. Curling??? you say... Yes curling. It's that weird sport played on an ice rink, involving brooms and a plastic, oblong ball thingy. Why curling? Well, it's cool. Trust me! Anyway, in true cheap camper style we have filled the empty seat in our car with Lucy, someone who responded to our Craig's List Rideshare posting and who offered to pay for gas in exchange for a ride up. Phil's parents secured us lodging through friends so we are squared away to enjoy the festivities without bleeding our wallets. For this we are so grateful! It is in true Olympics spirit of people coming together to help each other. We will be reporting back to you all from Vancouver!
